What is the difference between the Stealth Evo 4 and Stealth Evo 4S?
The Stealth Evo 4S uses significantly greater SuperFabric® coverage across both the shoulders and elbows. These larger SuperFabric® panels are reinforced over Cordura®; the remaining product architecture is shared with the Stealth Evo 4.
-
What kind of riding is the Stealth Evo 4S designed for?
The Stealth Evo 4S is built around long-distance adventure touring, where temperatures, terrain and riding conditions can change significantly through the same journey.
-
Why does the Stealth Evo 4S use so much SuperFabric®?
The shoulders and elbows are key slide zones. Large SuperFabric® panels add specialised abrasion-resistant reinforcement over the Cordura® construction already present at these areas.
-
Why does the Stealth Evo 4S use a ripstop nylon-led shell?
The nylon-led shell provides a tough textile foundation, while ripstop construction adds resistance to tearing. Cordura® and SuperFabric® are then added selectively at higher-exposure slide zones.
-
What impact protectors are included?
The jacket includes D3O T5 Evo Pro X Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors, a D3O Viper Air 2 Level 2 back protector and CERROS AuxTech Level 2 chest protectors.
-
Is the Stealth Evo 4S Jacket CE certified?
The complete jacket does not carry garment-level CE certification. The included shoulder, elbow, back and chest protectors are individually certified Level 2 protectors.
-
How does AeroBurst ventilation work?
The chest and back AeroBurst panels can be progressively opened or closed to regulate direct airflow. Additional forearm and underarm vents extend ventilation around the jacket.
-
Is the Stealth Evo 4S waterproof?
No. The outer shell receives a DWR treatment, but the jacket is not a purpose-built waterproof shell. Rain protection should be added through a compatible ModuLayer rain layer.
-
Can the jacket carry a hydration bladder?
Yes. The internal hydration pocket accommodates a bladder up to 2L, with four possible hose routes: left shoulder, right shoulder, left underarm or right underarm.
-
Does the jacket include a lumbar support belt?
Yes. A removable ventilated lumbar support belt is included and routes internally through the jacket.
-
What is ModuLayer?
ModuLayer keeps the riding jacket as the protective core while compatible weather layers are added or removed around it according to rain, cold and changing riding conditions.
-
What sizes are available?
Charcoal Black is available from S–5XL. Woodland Orange and Arctic Blue are available from S–2XL.
