Step 1: Prep

• Empty the unit, unroll the roll-top and open the quick-access pocket.
• Detach the ROK straps, SR mounting straps, shoulder strap and tank bag harness.
• Shake out loose dirt and grit. Brush it off with a soft, dry brush before any wiping, so grit isn't dragged across the shell.

Step 2: Everyday cleaning (recommended)

• Wipe the outer shell, rear panel and base with a damp (not soaked) microfibre cloth.
• For grime, add a little mild, neutral soap to the cloth and not to the bag. Wipe the area instead of submerging the unit.
• Go gently over the reflective branding print and avoid scrubbing it.

Step 3: Deeper clean (only if needed)

• Hand wash in lukewarm soapy water. We recommend avoiding hot water.
• Wash and rinse gently with a soft cloth or sponge. We recommend avoiding hard or abrasive brushes.
• Rinse until all soap is gone. Do not wring or twist the unit.

Step 4: Straps and fittings

• Wash the polyester webbing, buckles and pullers separately in lukewarm soapy water and rinse them clean.
• Rinse grit out of the buckles and clamps with plain water, then let them dry fully.

Step 5: Dry

• Air dry in a cool, ventilated, shaded place, away from direct sunlight, radiators, heaters and hairdryers.
• Leave the roll-top open and dry the inside as well as the outside.
• Do not tumble dry, iron or bleach.

Step 6: Store

• Store only when completely dry, in a cool, ventilated, moisture-free place, out of direct sunlight.
• We recommend keeping the unit loosely stored and not compressed under heavy items, so the shell keeps its shape.
• Keep solvents, fuels, oils, thinners and harsh cleaning agents away from the shell, webbing and fittings.

General

• Heat can damage the shell and its fittings, so keep the unit away from heat sources and open flames.
• The reflective print and branding wear gradually with normal use and cleaning.
